Chaitanya NEMATODES: PRECAUTIONS AND CONTROL MEASURES 1 Crop rotation with Sorghum or Pearl Millet is very effective.  2 Intercropping with Marigold has proven better results. Roots of Marigold secretes strong odour chemical & thus it works as repellent for growth & development of Nematodes. Even crop rotation with Marigold has proven results. 3 Use OP varieties of Marigold for better control. 4 Prepare schedule in such a way that Trichoderma Hargenium & Pacilomyces should be supplied alternately at weekly interval. 5 Strictly use Trichoderma Hargenium on new moon day 6 Above fungus & bacteria should not be used directly. One night before soak 1 liter trichoderma Hargenium or Pacilomyces in 40 liters of water + 250 gm black jaggery & next day mix above solution in 100 liters of water + 1 liter Humic Acid & supply for 1 acre. 7. Strictly avoid using fungicides through drip. Avoid fertilizer application one days before & after using Trichoderma or Pacilomyces 8 Use root promoters like Potassium Humate or Vitavex + Neem oil regularly 9 Use Neem Cake in Basal dose 10. Drenching with Bayer Velum Prime 500 ml per 200 liters of water shown very fruitful results. 11. Solarization atleast for one month after deep ploughing is very effective against retarding Nematode population.

My plant is 60 days old and I observed there is reduction in yield so got doubt and checked some plants and found nematodes Can we protect plants at this stage and still get good yield
