Dear Cb Pradeep Reddy I prefer to disagree with Mr Suresh Gollar that it is foot and collar rot. If it is foot and collar rot, the stem at the ground level is affected by fungus , and the entire plant dies , but not in parts. The unaffected leaves are healthy and rigid indicating that the stem at ground level is not affected , and these leaves get regular supply of water. Hence this cannot be foot and collar rot. I presume it can be alternaria leaf spot. Spray carbandazim 1 gm OR copper oxychloride 3 gms in one litre of water. About 200 litres of spray solution may be required per acre.
