Okra stems turning yellow

Why my okra stems are turning yellow at top? Should I cut them? Previously there was mealy bug infestation and I treated them, now could witness new leaves growing at bottom. But still the upper part of the stem is turning yellow. What could be the reason and what should be done? Thanks in advance

Hi Dhivya. Ok. As per your sent image, I don't see any major problems, it seems. No need to cut stem at this stage. Just check symptoms with Powdery Mildew by clicking on green link for taking control measures from Plantix library. Care: Don't do overwatering and direct watering on plant. Apply good amount of Farm Yard manure or Vermicompost. Make small holes below the pot to drain out excessive water from the pot. Ensure adequate sunlight to get good growth of your okra plants. Try well and take care of your plants please.
