Are the little black spots on the grape fruit really breathing spots? My own research shows that this is completely normal. I'm new to growing grapes. What do you think about these spots?

Hard to tell from the pics. But aside from what you are describing about the fruit...the leaves look like something has been attacking your plants and the spots might be a result of a disease vectored by a pest and/or it could be the pest themselves.
