Andrew Munroe These are a species of Hadda Beetle and they damage the leaf lamina by chewing. Pls check in Plantix Library by clicking on green link / text for appropriate chemical treatment. Any contact poisons like Chloropyrifos or Deltamethrin is suitable for control measures because the insect has hard body cover.

Dear Andrew Munroe, They're definitely not beneficial in habits, so if they're small in numbers, pls drive them by a stick to drop down to the ground. Then destroy by pressing mechanically, so you need not any pesticide. Hope that it helps and makes a better sense😁
