Hi Panashe Chakanyuka. I am not sure, but compare symptoms with Black Rot by clicking on green link for taking control measures from Plantix library.

Hi Suresh Gollar. It's not black rot, there's no sign of rot on any of the leaves. The brown areas is the red soil of the field.

symptoms of aphids and thribs.... its contagious, use the right measures as quickly as possible.... uproot the most affected crops.
