I had a problem like that as well. I used diatomaceous earth. It was some kind of beetle that was eating mine.

Saad Sreekanth M Maura Fox thank you all for your help. It seems the closest to what I have seen in my crops is Tobacco Caterpillar and Southern Armyworm I have been treating with Neem oil every month. But maybe I need something stronger or more frequent. Thoughts?

Mohammad Kaddoura By using Neem oil 5ml/L will stop the leaf eating insect from feeding but will not kill them. If you think neem oil is not going to work then go for application of spinosad or Imidacloprid.

Once the plant is damage by fungus or insect damage it gives off a scent that attracts more bugs to the plant spary the plant with a need oil spray after the bees are done for the night come back an hour or two later with a peppermint oil spray to mask the scent. I use about 30 drops of essential oil and just enough biodegradable dish soap to disperse the oil to a 32 ounce spray bottle. Do not use the sprays during the day it will kill the honey bees and burn the plants in the sunlight
