This discoloration is just starting to appear on the lower leaves of my cherry tomato plant. Is it a nutrient deficiency or is it a disease or is it both. What should I do to treat it.

I bought a Roma tomato plant and transplanted it over a month ago. Almost immediately, the leaves and stems began turning purple and yellow. There are flowers buds that have been there for weeks but never bloomed. The growth has stopped and it's not producing.

Hello George, In cherry tomatoes there is a common disease called Bacterial Spot and Speck of Tomato that is supposed to be identified by minute dots black in colour. Similar symptoms are visible in your uploaded affected leaves, so you can ck in Plantix library by clicking on green hyperlink and compare. There are details on the disease in Plantix library along with prevention and chemicals for treatments, pls review. Hope that it helps 😊

Thanks, I was thinking it was bacterial spot. Do you think that also caused the yellowing or am I missing nutrients as well?

Thank you George for asking us once again. There might be white films deposition along with browning appearance. White structures if not eventually a spray drifts that has most possibilities of being associated with Powdery Mildew disease. Naturally when any plant suffer from diseases we recommend some nutrients like nitrogen and epson salt for rapid recovery. For Powdery mildew pls spray Azoxystrobin and for a nutritional supplement use NPK foliar sprays and apply epsom salt dissolved in water to the growing media. Hope that it recovers your plant😊 For example see my cherry tomatoes ganging 😎
