Oleander Scale - Tomato

Tomato Tomato

Tomato stalk. What can these be?

The plant looks healthy otherwise . Those things on the stalk are not loose, seems not to be insects. Can anyone have an idea what can it be? Many thanks in advance. PS the brown line is from a string I used to hold the plant.

Annna5 Looks like hard Scale insects. Compare with Transparent Scale or Oleander Scale.

They're what would turn into roots if that part of the plant touched soil. Tomatoes are a vine technically. This is what Ivy does :-)
