Thrips - Tomato

Tomato Tomato

Hello. This is my tomato plant.

I had a problem of thrips due to my water softener being connected to my outside watering hose. It caused my.plants to use a lot of nutrients they needed and that's when the thrips attacked. I believe this disease is caused by thrips but I saw the only thing I could do was rip the plant out before it infected my whole plant I would like some insight and help because its producing fruits as we speak so I would hate to have to destroy the guy :( Thank you guys as always
