What is the disease? Kindly suggest the remedies and what needs to be applied.

About 100 plants have wilted within 2 days. Contact fungicide (Copper Oxychloride,Indofil, DuPont Curzate, Antracol) was applied in separate field to check but was unable to stop the spread.

Sreekanth M Sir..Can you suggest some applications for control and to prevent spread. We have used seeds resistant to bacterial wilt but the results are different.

Hi Tinku Field management practices are essential to suppress this pathogen (Like crop rotation, flooding, green manuring, liming etc). Spray the crop with Streptocycline (0.3g/L) 2-3 times at 10 day intervals.
