Thank you Mahadevaiah N for the great efforts! Rice skipper is correct diagnosis and these larvae are unlike the Rice leafroller, defoliate tips of rice leaves. However, this is a minor pest in rice environment and better controlled by predators and birds. In severe case contact poison like chloropyrifos or cypermethrin can be recommended. thanks!
