Brown plant hopper in rice don't bore into internal bud then to soft tissues. They suck saps from stems as a result plants wilt and patches of hopper burn appears. In this picture it's a clear vision of internal damages by larvae like Yellow Stem Borer and there's signs of frazz and fecal matters and the stage indicates something like post pupation and moth is already out to further breeding. yes, you are right sali sir.it is clear cut symptom of stem borer.but,in caption it is mentioned that control of hoppers. based on caption i thought picture post wrongly posted instead of bph he has posted yellow stem borer. Hence, i have recommended for bph any way , you are taking us to right direction. thank you very much sir 👏😂.

just instal some of yellow sticky trap(best method) in ur paddy field ...and give a general spray of monocrotophos 36sl 1.5 ml per lt...

please don't recommend monocrotophos, because pesticide authority in India stopped its use in food crops. thanks 😊

sorry for recomending monocrotophos now its banned ...use imidacloprid{trade name-confidor,imidamida,tatamida ) ....0.3ml. per lt of water
