Thrips - Pomegranate

Pomegranate Pomegranate

A

Does anyone know what this disease or pests has affected the pomegranate and the best possible chemical treatment to be given to heal this issue. I have fungicides / pesticides / insecticides available to use but please advice what this is and which treatment is best suited for this issue.

The leaves of the pomegranate tree is wilting and falling off the branches. The leaves turn yellow and have small black spots on the leaves. Most leaves have fallen off the tree and the pomegranates are very small and hardened skin with cuts and the skin is coated with white powder. The pomegranate tree doesn't bear much fruits unlike the beginning when the tree was small. This has been like this for a year and a half.

Hi Abdul Warsame. As per your sent image and your explanation, I think your Pomegranate plant is severely effected by Thrips . Click on green link for checking symptoms and taking control measures from Plantix library immediately. Regarding white structure on fruit: It looks like bird's excreta. Let's check this at your end. If you have any problems, let's send some more clear and closer day time full plant direct field pictures with your proper query again please.
