Hi Sujay Shakar ! For details on Pomegranate Wilt please click the link above to plantix library. For managing this disease you can take following measures 1. Soil drenching with Carbendazim (0.2%) or Propiconazole (0.15%) or Tridemorph (0.15%) + Chloropyriphos (0.25%). 2.Spray with Carbendazim (0.1%) or Propiconazole (0.15%) or Tridemorph (0.15%) as soon as first sign of disease are seen. You can also adopt the following steps : 1. At initial stage drench 2ml Propiconazole + 4ml Chloropyriphos per litre water solution, drench 8-10lit of solution per tree. 2. Do not irrigate for 2-3 days after drenching. 3. If any plant already wilted, please drench chemical as per above mentioned, then remove entire plant along with roots and burn it. 4. Drench with 2.5% solution of Formaldyhyde (25 ml per litre of water) at place where you have already removed plant, then cover with a polythene for 15 days. Then apply organic matter like FYM or Vermicompost. You may re-plant the new seedling in the plot. Thanks for visiting plantix community

Sujay Shakar Fusarium Wilt can be controlled effectively by regular drenching with Trichoderma + Pseudomonas & Trichoderma + Bacillus alternately at weekly interval. Before using soak 1 kg Trichoderma + 250 gm jaggery in 40 litre water separately and Pseudomonas 1 litre + 250 gm jaggery in 40 litre separately. Next day strain both solutions through cloth and mix in 250 litre water and carryout drenching. Follow similar procedure for Trichoderma + Bacillus application. Click on above green link so that we can get detail information along with control measures in Plantix library ☺️☺️

Sujay Shakar Wilting is major problems in most of the crops , I'm agreed with Dr. V Pandey sir and Venkat Pawar. Sir . We can also suggest drenching of Thiophante Methyl 70% 2 gm / liter Gives you effective control on Fusarium Wilt Which will be beneficial and affordable at other side

Dr. V Pandey Thanks for your suggestions Sir. Yes biopesticide action is slow but much sustainable. Sujay Shakar as per Dr. V Pandey ji's recommendation use chemicals for quick control but for long-term results I think my suggestion will be fruitful. Dr. V Pandey sir we are controlling fusarium, verticillium and bacterial wilts in Watermelon (only 70 to 75 days duration crop) very effectively by following above mentioned method but should strictly refill after weekly interval. Thank you

My pleasure Venkat Pawar. Sir. The watermelon root system is very small as compared to pomegranate 😊

Rahul Patil Once fusarium entered in the field there is no chemical control. We can suppress infection for few days and it is much feasible in short duration crops. In such cases Azoxystrobin or Fosetyl work very effectively. For fruit crops it is always better to stick up with biopesticides right from flowering stage.
