Hi all, can i know that is the causes that made the leaves curve downwards? There is no sign of pest infestation

Leaves turn pale green and curve downwards

Hi Suresh Gollar but there is no trace of thrips via naked eyes observation with the aid of magnifying lens

Hi Joy Of Plantation . As per your sent image - your chilli plants looking very tender. This might be due to: 1. Excessive nitrogen fertilizers application 2. Variation in environmental conditions like sudden changes in temperature etc. 3. Its showing initial stage of Thrips , some time they may out through water. Lets check. 4. Downward curling might also be due Aphids and Spider Mites too. Please check symptoms carefully by clicking on green links for taking control measures from Plantix library.

Dear Joy Of Plantation, Thrips are so minute creatures that they are even invisible by magnifying glass. Just continue spraying your plants after ten days of ages, use effective acaricides like Abamectin or proprigite or a combination of Abamectin + Thiamethoxam.
