Dear Dilpreet Singh , Sir, the green algal patches on the soil surface indicate that the field is over irrigated. Over irrigation specially in clayey soils will not allow roots to develop , and the plants may die slowly . Stop irrigation immediately and after soil dries take up intercultivation to loosen the soil . Irrigate only when you will not be able to make a ball from handful of soil. The crop is also affected by sucking pests. Take up a spray as detailed herein.
