Dear Rakesh . Sir, in the photo you have uploaded , there is no sign of root rot or damping off. However if you find root rot spray captan as described . I agree with Suresh Gollar that plants are affected by powdery mildew. Take up spraying of sulphur .

Rakesh yes but I watch your soil condition It seems very hungry and dry which have no organic nutrients. So apply some animal manue well decomposed

Dear Rakesh , Large amount of cracks are seen around the plants , which may mean the crop requires irrigation . Also while taking up intercultivation , avoid disturbing root system . Also the plants look little yellow . Give once good irrigation and fertilisers apart from taking up control measures for powdery mildew and if necessary for damping off

Hi Rakesh . As per your sent image, it clears me that, you are doing well leaded to waterlogging. This immediately effects on plant growth of root. Some time, roots cannot withstand this and start rotting. Let's avoid it. Give optimum water depends upon soil and climatical conditions.

Dear Rakesh I tend to agree with Suresh Gollar . The green color on the soil indicate waterlogging , which inhibits root growth. Don't over irrigate , give optimum irrigation . If there is any drainage problem , please take care of it

Dear Rakesh It looks to be damping off. Split the stem of affected plants , you see dark linear portion in the middle of the stem . Take control measures for damping off. Excess irrigation also may lead to poor root growth . In that case , when you split open , the middle of the stem containing xylem and phloem vessels will not be dark . Take measures as required

Dear Rakesh , Few tips for proper irrigation There are 3 types of soil clayey , loamy, and sandy. Clayey soils contain more of clay and require less irrigation; loamy soils require medium irrigation; and sandy soils require more irrigation. To decide when to irrigate the field follow this simple procedure. Remove one or two centimeters of top soil , and take handful of soil and try to make a ball. While making soil ball , if water oozes out , then soil has excess of water and does not require irrigation. If the soil can be made into a ball successfully , then it has enough moisture and does not require irrigation. If you can't make the soil into a ball , then there is water deficit and require irrigation immediately. Temporary wilt , when the leaves become limp in the afternoon and become turgid , also indicates requirement of irrigation . It seems your soil is clayey
