Hi Parwani Family Is there any possibility of chloride toxicity? Check quality of irrigation water.

Hi Parwani Family . Apart from above, also check symptoms with Potassium Deficiency and initial stage of Magnesium Deficiency by clicking on green links for taking control measures from Plantix library. Also need to apply good amount of Farm Yard manure or Vermicompost once in 6 months along with recommended dosage of fertilizers of your area. Or you can also use fertilizer calculater available here on home page of Plantix to increase your crop productivity. Try well and take care of your Mango plant please.

Thanks Sreekanth M ji and Suresh Gollar hi. Chloride toxicity can be the problem because I always see that in spite of good care and addition of fertilizer from time to time my plants are not flourishing. Is there any way to check this at home? As far as potassium and magnesium deficiency I had added potassium fertilizer in plant and keep on adding banana peels along with tea leaves and egg shells dried and then powdered.

We get water from Delhi jal board which is stored in tanks and that water is used. No other alternative is there. Few days they disrupted the supply because of increased ammonia content. Can i put some alum in bucket of water and irrigate with that water. If yes then please let me know the quantity of alum to be used in a bucket of water.

Hi Parwani Family, Good day! I suspect the physical environmental factors like size of the container. If the root area is insufficient as the mango tree needs both pruning and shifting the plants each season for appropriate nutrition, pls make sure these factors. So, show me the container and the full canopy in another picture. I hope if I could prune and change with a next larger size of container, then filled with vermicomposted soil, it might be fixed.🤑

Parwani Family More to guess that your pruning phases seem like inappropriate, as a result canopy size is not uniform. Pls discuss with me the pruning phases you adopted over the last 2 yrs.

Dear Parwani Family saheb, This is definitely an inappropriate and insufficient small pot for nutrients supply plus contentment of growing roots. So, immediately shift this plant to a cut drum and share with me of what should be the depth, width and circumference. Pls discuss about the coconut husk that I will place at the bottom and I'll articulate an additional hole to supply water from the base to conserve moisture as per requirement. If the water passes from the bottom to the upward it’s called sub-soil irrigation. Hope that this system makes you happy to accept. 😁

As advised by you I will transfer the plant to a bigger pot. I had changed the plant 2 to 3 months ago. Earlier it was in one size smaller pot. Is it okay to change it now or should wait? Coconut husk is to be spread in the bottom of pot above the stones?

Yes Parwani Family, pls change now and supply fresh nutrients in a bigger pot to feed for the whole winter. Then change again in June. I think 2 changes , one in October or November and another in June or July makes better sense. To make an ideal uniform bush structure, pls try to prune in March or April so that you get new flushes in June and July. Pls graft the branches with more 4 attractive variety in 4 branches next May. So, you will get 5 types of mango in different branches. In the 3rd yr, pls start grafting with more 5 types of varieties . That means in 4th yr, you’ll get 10 types of mango from your single plant. Getting such a mango tree is more than an ornamental, isn’t it? 😁
