Hi Thrinath Varma . It looks like Hairy Caterpillars . Click on green link for checking symptoms and taking control measures. Mango plant seems to be effected by Mango stem borer. Control measures:1. Hook out the grub from the bore hole - apply monocrotophos 36 WSC 10 to 20 ml/ hole 2. One celphos tablet (3 g aluminum phosphide) per hole 3. Apply carbofuran 3G 5 g per hole and plug with mud.
