Hi Garner, Thxs to share ur problem with community, This is corn smut disese occurred through ariation & remain presence in soil.If comes it regenarats up to 6-7 yrs.So crop rotation must done.i.e. it also cereals loving.Destoy disesesd part/debris to outside the field bcze animal dung also recycled these.

Inclusive, en la región donde yo vivo, se inocula al maiz para obtenerlo y se usan variedades sensibles ya que no en todos los maices aparece.
