Here are typical symptoms of iron-deficiency chlorosis in maze grown in calcareous soil. Application of 0.5 percent iron sulphate resloves this problem if crop is less than 70 day old.

There are 3 elements responsible for interveinal stripped chlorosis in maize: Iron, Sulfur and Magnesium. The younger leaves are affected for iron, older leaves are for sulfur and magnesium. For Magnesium deficiency leaf edges could be twisting or wave like appearance. So, I can request Dr. Pandey to compare if it has some similarities wMagnesium Deficiencyency. Thank you!
