Damping-Off of Seedlings - Cucumber

Cucumber Cucumber

S

My cucumber plants 15 days old, dying due to wilting. This is going on for past week and I lost 600 new plants so far after flushing the grow bags for 12 hours to get rid of salts from previous cultivation. The stem just above roots are weak and slowly the plant dies. I didn't irrigate or fertigate the plants from day one still there is lot of moisture inside the bags.

I grow cucumbers inside polyhouse in a grow bags. Inside polyhouse temperature is 45 deg c plus in a hot day. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Venkat Pawar. Thanks for your advice. It doesn't looks like a fungal disease, just over watering. There's no stick substance or string like thing inside the affected stem or roots that we usually expect in the fungal affected plants.

Nandhakumar R thanks. I'm doing soilless cultivation and the ground is covered with weed mats. So chances of soil pathogens is negligible.
