Lemon tree branches are dying after pruning. What is the reason?

The branches which I pruned last week had no new growth. After pruning these branches are dying.. On the other side, Some branches are flowering and have new growthes. On some branches new growth is dying.

Hi Joe. Apply good amount of Farm Yard manure or Vermicompost once in 6 months along with 19:19:19 complex fertilizers or you can also use fertilizer calculater available here on home page of Plantix to increase your crop growth and productivity.

Joe After pruning citrus plant, you need to treat with fungicide. Have you done that? If not the fungal infestation started already. That's why the plant naturally started Dieback of Stone Fruit disease. Pls cut again down side and treat with copper oxychloride wettable powder dissolved in water. Hope that it helps 😁

I used to spray it with neem oil every week. And to fertilize once a months npk 20 20 20 and Epsom slat and humic acide.

Great Joe, you were quite right. But you missed to use an effective fungicide. You can choose also Saaf that is Mancozeb or mancozeb +carbendazim 72% wp.
