Citrus
My lemon plant is quite bushy( lots of leaves). It has lot of fruits and flowers. But now leaves are getting yellow and fruit is dropping. One fruit today dropped has a crack in it. There is lot of dust over the plant I am not washing it due to fear of harming flowers. Few days back I sprayed epsom salt over plant. That has left white Mark's over leaves. Please suggest me how to take care of plant at this stage?

leaves are good, BUT lemon fruits are having brown to black skin ...why..what to do?

Hi Parwani Family. Yellowing of leaves might be due to Nitrogen Deficiency and Cracking of fruits also might be due Boron Deficiency and similar symptoms of Fruit Cracking . Lets check symptoms by clicking on green links given above for taking control measures from Plantix library. Also need to apply good amount of Farm Yard manure or Vermicompost once in 6 months along with recommended dosage of fertilizers or you can also use fertilizer calculater available here on home page of Plantix to increase your crop productivity. Try well and take care of your plant please.

Thanks Suresh Gollar ji. I was watering the plant every third day. I think I should start watering it every second day. It is in 24 inches pot. For slow release fertilizer I think instead of grinding the mustard cake I should break it into small pieces and bury them in soil. Fertilizer I use is cow dung manure, compost, moisture of mustard cake (2parts) bone meal( 2 parts) and neem cake( 1 part) I grind this mixture.probably that is incorrect. And sometimes I also add zyme granules and sea weed granules or foliar spray of seaweed extract. Any other suggestions are most welcome. Thanks

Hi Parwani Family, Citrus plant loves less water for good flowering. Excess of leaves indicate the you applied excess of water and fertilizers. Pls trim the older leaves that are already affected by Citrus Greening Disease and Citrus Leaf Miner. Pls show me the container and the flower if there's anything wrong.
