Hi all, some of my citrus like this one have quite a lot of fruit. 2 weeks ago they have started having yellow leaves from bottom of the canopy upwards. Nitrogen deficiency?
The vast majority of the leaves are just totally and uniformly turned yellow. Cheers. Eng. Pedro Almeida (unpracticed yet in distinguishing HLB from nitrogen deficiency)

Hi Pedro Almeida ! Greetings from India!!! For accurate diagnosis of your problem need some more pics including pic of whole plant. From the pic uploaded & description it seems to be either Iron deficiency or light deficiency or even colletotrichum infection. Please don't forget to upload more pics

Hello During fruits ripening stage, please don't increase nitrogen application, it may make leaves green, but it would definitely delay fruits maturation and deter tastes of the fruits. Two possibilities, incidence of sucking pest or deficiency of phosphorus and potassium normally occur during maturation stage. To meet the excess requirement of potassium and phosphorus for fruits and grains during maturing stage, plant leaves come forward to make a supplement, this is a common plant physiological process. As a result, leaves start growing yellow then dries. So, I'm not much worried about such yellowing of leaves at this stage. Just ck if the fruits health is okay. If there is any sucking pest underside of the leaves, just adopt spraying of acaricides, like Abamectin or any other suitable formulation appropriate as suggested by your local extension agent. Thank you!!

Good friends I aknowledge your immense help with wonderful interest for my post and really moving Plantix. I only now can send the photos that I took 4 days ago. Sorry but I was with much work before sunset and could have been more rigorous with tree number and cardinal exposition for each photo, but, I couldn't this time. My aim was to picture every possible issue on my trees. To guide you, the leave that appears to have black colonies of a pathogen, was the only one that I found on my trees in a rapid look. Also the cracked fruit was the only one found on my trees until now this year. I will send nice photos of my apricot trees issues in a later post, but first I look very forward to have your veridicts for my citrus leaves! Cheers. Eng. Pedro Almeida (Environmental Engineer, Specialty Agroecology).
