Bean
I plants some beans and as they grew to about 12 inches tall i noticed black pests on their stalks and leaves. I also noticed ants climbing up na ddown the stalks. Are the ants eating up the pests or are they causing them? Whats the best way to clear them out without using chemicals (ive about 120 plants and I've honeybees) Regards,

Hi Talal El Masri this are Aphids . The ants loves the honey drew from the aphids and protect them for predators. When you get rid of the aphids then the ants are going too. Click on the green link to get more informations and control measures on the plantix libary.
