Why are all my banana leaves turning brown?
My bananas have had a strange browning of leaves the last 2 weeks. Its not old leaves, it is all the leaves old and young alike. Kindly help if you know or have experienced this.

Banana New Leaf is affected by disease
The New Leaf is struck with some disease and is not growing inturn affecting the whole plant. It has black marks and have withered down. We tried using the following way to treat it couple of times but haven't seen successful results yet: 1) Neem oil solution diluted with water. 2) Cow urine diluted with water. 3) Turmeric mixed in water. We are let to identify exact cause and the solution to cure or avoid this disease or infection.

Hi Syam Anjan Nagendra Its not a serious issue. It will happen due to honeydew secretions of sucking pests in your crop or near by plants. You may sprinkle water. Washing is enough for this. Identify the presence of sucking pests (Scale insects, whiteflies, mealy bugs etc) and control them by spraying systemic pesticides.
