Apple tree has mycell like wooly spots on previously cut branched
White wooly, hairy and sticky parts appear at older wounds of all size. Some leaves and smaller branches die off completely. My guess is anthracnose

David Apple Mosaic Virus A viral disease you must pluck those leaves and burn or buried them and also apply any systemic fungicide.
