Plantix at the KISAN Fair

The 27th KISAN Fair took place in Pune City in the middle of December last year. For us it was the first time that we were represented at KISAN. The unique thing about this trade fair is that it provides a platform for the entire Indian agricultural industry and brings together agricultural experts, researchers, policy makers, freelance experts, like-minded people, government representatives and the media across the country for an open dialogue. Of course we wouldn't want to miss it.

Kisan Fair in Numbers

• Approximately 150,00 visitors from all over India
• 541 exhibitors displaying their products and services
• Kisan Fair spreads over 30 acres
• 15 pavilions focusing on different sectors of our users interests like: Agri Input, Tools and Implements, Green Issues, Water Management, Plasticulture & Protection Cultivation and an International Pavilion.

During the four day fair we were introduced to many exciting people and their projects. The atmosphere at KISAN was very open minded and friendly. The people exchanged ideas, talked shop and had fun. Those who already knew Plantix were very grateful for our application and gave us their feedback and many suggestions, which we really appreciate.

At the stall we organized an amusing ‘Guess and Win’ game where people had to recognize names of diseases from different photos of diseased plants. It was a great experience to shake hands with so many lovely and interesting people. We would like to thank the organizers and all our visitors, and we are looking forward to the next edition.
