Only devastating borer in eggplant is Brinjal Shoot and Fruit Borer, but your plant in not infested with this insect. Dear André Silva Can you pls upload more pictures showing drill marks or wilting appearance of terminal shoot? Because if the attack is due to Brinjal Shoot and Fruit Borer, then it must have some symptoms of shoot attack as in my picture. Please be careful of Brinjal Shoot and Fruit Borer because it starts infesting fruits just after flowering. Use egg-parasitoid tricho cards and pheromones traps. Spray emamectin benzoate 5 SG and top dressing by carbofuran 5 G. For more details and option, please check in Plantix Library for comparison and control measures.
